Nathan Young’s Elizabeth Chair

With its fluid lines and natural wood, the Elizabeth chair straddles the line between modern and traditional. Created by Singapore designer Nathan Yong, the high back invites cozying into with a book and a glass of iced tea, and removable cushions support the head or back. Formerly made of black-stained ash for indoor use, the 2014 outdoor version is made of teak issued from regulated plantations in Indonesia. The cushions, too, are designed to withstand the elements. www.ligne-roset-usa.com
