Steady Strength

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) predicts that the median price for new homes will increase by 5.1 percent. David Lereah, NAR’s chief economist, reports that while the rate of price increases for 2004 will be slower than last year, it will remain above the historic norm of one to two percentage points higher than the general rate of inflation.
