Zero Down

HUD wants to make it easier for people to buy their first home.

HUD wants to make it easier for people to buy their first home. In its current budget proposal, the federal agency has proposed offering a zero down payment FHA mortgage loan for first-time buyers. Participants would be required to go through home-ownership counseling (which often includes financial education) and pay slightly more for their mortgage insurance.
