Lennar Corp.’s WCI Communities has opened two new models at the waterfront community of Southshore Yacht Club.

Southshore Yacht Club is located along canals in Ruskin, Fla. that lead to the deep waters of Tampa Bay. The newly opened model homes are the Pompano and Sandestin floorplans, which vary in price and style, but have coastal architecture exteriors, open-concept design and sophisticated features. The new floor plans offer waterfront views from the kitchen, dining room, living room and master suite.

Each home in the community has a large covered back patio with access from the master suite and an optional outdoor kitchen. The homes all have modern, upgraded features available to buyers, including quartz countertops, built-in double oven, gas stove cooktop, and a tile roof. Waterfront homes can be equipped with a dock and boatlift added after the home has been purchased.

The Pompano is a two-story home with a new feature for WCI: an elevator for easy access to the second floor. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a 3-car garage with a large loft, flex space and a second-floor balcony. The 2,732-square-foot floor plan starts at $600,490.

The Sandestin is a two-story home with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a 2-car garage, and has additional living space with a flex room, large loft and a second-floor balcony. The home has extra storage areas with a large storage closet downstairs and an oversized pantry. The 2,875-square-foot floor plan starts at $530,490, and there is currently one move-in ready home in this style.

The Captiva, an existing model, is one story, with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a 3-car garage. All three bedrooms have walk-in closets, allowing for plenty of storage. The 2,373 square-foot floor plan starts at $550,490, and there are currently two move-in ready homes in this style.

“Southshore Yacht Club’s model homes showcase new-home luxury waterfront living,” said Mark Metheny, division president for Lennar Tampa, the parent company of WCI. “Each home has a wide range of appealing features for buyers – whether it’s extra living space in a loft, a waterfront patio and balcony, or an elevator.”

A dog park and clubhouse with a resort-style pool also recently opened in the community.
