KB Home Opens Seattle-Area Community

KB Home (NYSE: KBH) today announced the grand opening of Ridgecrest, a new single-family home community situated in the city of Kent, Washington.

The new commuter friendly location offers a collection of affordably priced two-story designs that are walking distance to schools and parks.

“Ridgecrest is in an ideal location, with easy access to the Sounder train and major highways, which provides for short commutes to area employers and downtown Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma,” said Ryan Kemp, president of KB Home’s Seattle division. “As with other KB Home communities, Ridgecrest offers home shoppers the opportunity to purchase a new, personalized KB home at a price that fits their needs.”

Ridgecrest is conveniently located just minutes to Highway 167 and Interstate 5. The community’s six floor plans offer up to five bedrooms and three baths, and range in size from approximately 1,550 to 2,750 square feet. These new homes feature gourmet kitchens overlooking expansive great rooms and master bedroom suites with walk-in closets. Residents can enjoy outdoor recreation at nearby Lake Meridian and Clark Lake Park and a variety of activities at Arbor Heights 360 Park, which is within walking distance of the community.
