CalAtlantic Homes (NUYSE:CAA) held grand openings at six communities spread across the U.S. this past weekend.

In Suwanee, Ga., CAA began sales at Olde Woodward Mill, a selection of 15 single-family home designs situated between Lake Lanier and metro Atlanta.

“Olde Woodward Mill is ideal for home shoppers looking for a suburban lifestyle, where they can enjoy exceptional schools and a very welcoming rural environment without sacrificing quick access to all of Atlanta’s best amenities,” said Casey Hill, Atlanta Division President for CalAtlantic Homes. “These spectacular new homes are almost equidistant from Lake Lanier and the urban attractions of the metro area.”

Ranging from 2,455 to 4,115 square feet, Olde Woodward Mill offers 15 ranch and two-story home designs ranging from three to six bedrooms and three to five-and-a-half baths. Pricing begins in the mid $300,000s.

Floor plans at Olde Woodward Mill are centered by a generous Great Room that flows easily into a gourmet kitchen with a large center island. Strategically placed windows further enhance these living areas, filling spaces with natural light and creating a welcoming environment for family and friends. Homes additionally feature large secondary bedrooms and a spa-inspired owner’s suite. Select models offer loft space, bonus rooms and main-floor living options. Exteriors can be enhanced with brick, shake or stone detailing.

Residents at Olde Woodward Mill will enjoy resort-style amenities such as a private swimming pool, amenity center, two lighted tennis courts and a neighborhood playground. The community is minutes from the shopping, dining and entertainment of Suwanee Town Center, the Mall of Georgia and Chateau Elan Winery, as well as nearby golf courses and sporting attractions featuring the Braves minor league baseball and Gladiators hockey.

Olde Woodward Mill is less than 10 miles from Lake Lanier – north Georgia’s premier outdoor recreation destination – and minutes from the junctions of I-85 and I-985, offering quick access to the urban amenities and primary job corridors of metro Atlanta. The community is served by the award-winning and highly desirable Gwinnett County School District and North Gwinnett High School District.

In Volo, Ill., CAA opened Remington Pointe North, with two distinct home collections that offer a total of 9 different one- and two-story floor plans to choose from.

“We are pleased to introduce The Prairies and The Crossings within the Remington Pointe North community,” said Kevin Johnson, Chicago Division President for CalAtlantic Homes. “The community’s central location and CalAtlantic’s thoughtful home design details make these residences an ideal home solution for home shoppers seeking a peaceful setting in close proximity to urban amenities.”

Both home designs offer bright, oversized family rooms that flow into spacious center-island kitchens and private outdoor decks – a combination perfect for entertaining family and friends. Each home also features a generous owner’s suite with a spa-inspired bath.

Select floor plans can be further personalized with vaulted ceilings and finished basements with bedroom and recreation room options.
