La Quinta Desert Villas Resort

La Quinta, Calif.

1 MIN READ

Drawing on the famed La Quinta Resort for inspiration, architect William Hezmalhalch designed this 11,821-square-foot clubhouse to be an iconic building. “I wanted something that felt like it had been there over the years,” he says.

Since the location doesn’t offer golf or tennis, the clubhouse is a crucial part of the amenities. “The sense of discovery with the space was key,” Hezmalhalch says. “You can walk from the various units conveniently through paseos and greenways. The pedestrian experience is an amenity.”
