Remodelers Define “Green”

REMODELING magazine, a sister publication to CUSTOM HOME, recently polled its readers about how they define “green building,” and the results were as interesting as they were varied. Some believe green building is a waste of money or a marketing gimmick, while others approach the concept from a holistic perspective and integrate sustainable practices into every aspect of their businesses. Still others focus on just one or two aspects, such as energy efficiency, efficient use of materials, or recycling jobsite waste.
