Story time: The story-and-a-half Craftsman house is perfect in scale and style for an in-city Pacific Northwest neighborhood. A single-story facade is pedestrian friendly.
Block party: By eliminating a few roads, Bruskrud created a 50-by-100-foot common green to be shared by six homes. “Each gets a private backyard and great public space out front.”
